Overview
Alxtel' DID Forwarding Switch gives service providers the technology they need to offer their end users a local number in order to access an international destination. In this scenario, end users register their phone numbers, enter the destination number, and the system will assign a local phone number to them so they can make or receive calls from their contacts for the price of a local call. Based on Alxtel softswitch technology, this solution integrates enhanced features for administrators to make customer management easy and user friendly. With platinum features, like SMS support and favorite lists, service providers can offer an array of competitive features to their end users.

Add-on Modules
SMS Support
An SMS message will be sent to a contact that is added to the favorite list. This SMS will contain a message that can be changed using the GUI. The SMS service will be implemented by using a 3rd party.
PIN Based Authentication
One PIN number is assigned to each end user's account so when a non registered contact tries to call any of the assigned DIDs, the system will redirect the call to an automatic message (IVR) that will prompt him to enter a PIN number for authentication. This feature requires an account with Authorize.net.
Recurring Billing (Auto-recharge)
This feature is available by using a merchant services provider so end users' credit card information is saved and can be charged automatically.
Contact DID Number Assignment
A DID number (with the area code of the contact for each member of the friend list) can be assigned to each contact.
